Vanderbilt Health in Nashville, TN is seeking an assistant to support patient care delivery and maintain unit environments under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will join the 9N Surgical Stepdown 20 team in a full-time role with a night schedule.

The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability and strong communication. Night shift runs 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with rotating schedules and daytime orientation in the first week.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• Enrollment in an RN program or completion of a Nursing Assistant/Aide program within the past year required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills requested.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the delivery of patient care under licensed nurse supervision.
• Maintain unit environmental standards and supply levels.
• Facilitate safe patient care and flow by following work area standards.
• Serve as liaison for patient and family communication and education.
