Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide individualized care in a long-term care setting in Nebraska. You will apply the nursing process, collaborate with residents, families and the care team, and coordinate care across disciplines.

The role may involve leadership duties such as acting as charge nurse as needed. Qualified candidates hold an RN license, preferably a BSN, and have experience with care coordination and comprehensive resident education.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice is occurring.
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with residents, families and interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care and supervise delegated tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and address care concerns.
