Job summary

The Staff RN at Emanate Health is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame. They coordinate and implement patient care tailored to the age of the patient population served on assigned units, ensuring quality care in a safe and efficient manner.

Licensed in California with BLS, ACLS within 3 months, NIH Stroke Scale Certification for ICH/FPH roles, and stroke education annually.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in California.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS required within three (3) months of hire/transfer.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification "A" required within three (3) months of hire/transfer for those working at ICH and FPH.
• Annual one (1) hour of Stroke Education required for those working at QVH.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to a group of patients per unit standards.
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to patient population.
• Assess biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care and educational needs to develop and revise the plan of care.
