Job summary

The Staff RN for ICU/CCU at Emanate Health will provide professional nursing care for a designated group of patients during 12-hour night shifts, ensuring safety and quality in a high-acuity environment. The role requires strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and adherence to unit standards of care.

Minimum criteria include current California RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within three months, and NIH Stroke Scale Certification within three months.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of California.
• One year of critical care experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS within three months of hire/transfer.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within three months of hire/transfer.
• Must be available to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care for ICU/CCU patients, coordinating and implementing the plan of care.
• Assess biophysical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients and families to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to deliver 12-hour night shift coverage.
