• Must have NBRC approved Respiratory Therapist program from an accredited institution.
• Must hold NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Active state license as Registered Respiratory Therapist required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests per protocol.
• Obtain arterial blood gases and monitor equipment for safe patient care.
• Initiate respiratory protocols and intervene based on assessments.
• Administer medications safely and reassess effectiveness.
• Document care and ventilator/patient progress per standards.
