Job summary

You will perform arterial blood gas analysis, manage ventilator weans, educate patients and staff, and work with a dedicated team. Requires state license, NBRC RRT, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and strong computer and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current Respiratory Therapist license in the practicing state.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist certification.
• BLS certification; ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient with data entry and computer systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication; interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures.
• Reviews and documents clinical information for each patient.
• Educates patients and co-workers on procedures and treatment plans.
• Performs diagnostic procedures.
• Provides care appropriate to neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Adapts communication to the patient population and maintains privacy.
