Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, PA, seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to administer respiratory therapy, assess patients, and collaborate with physicians to determine treatment plans.

You will monitor patients on ventilation, perform evaluations, document care, and ensure compliance with care standards; BLS is required, NBRC registration within 2 years, and state licensure.

Competenze

• Professional competency in the science of Respiratory Care per NBRC credential.
• AMA approved School of Respiratory Care graduation.
• Licensed by the State Board of Medicine or State Board of Osteopathic Medicine.
• NBRC registration within 2 years if not already registered.

Mansioni

• Administers physician-prescribed respiratory therapy and monitors patient progress.
• Performs evaluation procedures to determine respiratory care needs and recommends plans.
• Monitors patients on mechanical ventilation, including weaning and airway care.
• Collects sputum, blood and breath specimens and measures lung capacity.
• Communicates with the health care team to coordinate services and ensure continuity of care.
