UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the night shift to deliver advanced respiratory care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to assess, treat and monitor patients while maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.

The role requires an AS in Respiratory Care, active RRT, and MA state licensure with BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications either in place or obtainable within appropriate timeframes.

Qualificações

• AS in Respiratory Care required.
• NBRC RRT credential required.
• Massachusetts State Respiratory Care License required.
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 3 months of employment.
• NRP certification required within 3 months of employment.
• PALS certification required within 3 months of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Review patient electronic medical records for history and orders.
• Administer aerosolized medications.
• Draw and analyze arterial blood gases; report critical values.
• Consult with physicians to optimize therapy and dosing plans.
• Monitor patient responses and communicate adverse reactions.
