Job summary

UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the night shift (7pm–7am) with strong critical care skills. The role involves independent patient care, patient assessment, and collaboration with physicians to optimize respiratory therapy plans.

Qualifications

• Critical Care experience, technical and computer skills.
• Ability to assess patients and make appropriate therapeutic recommendations along the continuum of care from admission to discharge including all aspects of respiratory care from floor therapies to mechanical ventilation and blood gas interpretation.
• Ability to read, write and speak clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Works as part of a team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Reviews patients' electronic medical record for history and orders.
• Administers aerosolized medications and analyzes blood gases.
