Job summary

Covenant Health Ministry is seeking a dedicated CNA to support patient care across departments. The Float Pool CNA will assist with hygiene, mobility, vital signs, and routine care under the supervision of the RN, contributing to patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include documenting care in the chart, promoting infection control, and remaining compliant with licenses and certifications. This role may float to other departments and supports student learning within a collaborative team

Qualifications

• CPI training preferred or obtained before completion of orientation.
• High school diploma or GED acceptable with CNA certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, toileting, ambulation, mobility, and positioning per care plan.
• Record vital signs and ADL care in the electronic charting system.
• Respond promptly to call lights and transport patients when needed.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy, and infection control standards.
• Float to assigned departments as needed by the Director/Manager/Nursing Supervisor.
• Support student learning and create a welcoming environment for learners.
• Complete annual compliance courses on time.
