Job summary

Pioneer Human Services is hiring a Residential Treatment Specialist for night shifts (Thursday to Sunday, 9pm–7am) in Spokane. The role focuses on providing physical care, implementing individualized treatment plans, and supporting residents in daily living and recovery goals.

You’ll work with a team to ensure safety, documentation, and program integrity. The position requires a high school diploma, First Aid/CPR, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to obtain a state-affiliated counselor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain Agency Affiliated Counselor (WAC 246-810-015, RCW 18.19.210) within 60 days from date of hire.
• First Aid/CPR certification before first independent shift.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook; Internet navigation.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical care and implement programming to assist residents with their treatment plan.
• Supervise and monitor resident movement, activity and rule compliance.
• Assist residents in health and hygiene needs and daily living skills.
• Drive a 15-passenger van as needed for activities and transport.
• Complete intake and discharge procedures for all residents.
• Participate in department meetings and collaborate with staff and volunteers.
