Job summary

Pioneer Human Services seeks a Residential Treatment Specialist for the Nights Thurs to Sun 9pm to 7am shift in Spokane, WA. The role focuses on implementing individualized treatment plans and providing support in a rehabilitation and recovery environment.

You will manage daily activities, document progress, and ensure safety and hygiene standards while assisting residents with transportation and program orientations. A driver’s license and CPR/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Agency Affiliated Counselor license within 60 days from hire.
• First Aid/CPR certification before first independent shift.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet navigation.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and explains program and unit policy to each resident as needed.
• Perform and document daily shift activities as required by program policies, contract stipulations and professional standards.
• Supervise and monitor resident movement, activity and rule compliance.
• Assess and respond appropriately to resident behaviors, attitudes and dispositions.
• RTSs on evenings and weekends plan and implement structured activities to promote social and independent living skills for recovery and rehabilitation.
• Provide written documentation of observations for the Individual Treatment Plan and review process.
• Assist residents in meeting health and hygiene needs.
• Transport residents to outside activities per policy; may drive a 15-passenger van.
• Complete intake and discharge procedures for all residents at arrival and exit.
