Job summary

Ahope, INC. is seeking a compassionate Residential Support Professional for a night shift to join our established agency providing 24-hour residential care.

The role supports children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, medical needs and social challenges, promoting safety, autonomy, and dignity. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining a clean and safe environment, documenting progress, and collaborating

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Dependable, punctual and flexible.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Pass a criminal history background check.
• Job requires frequent lift, push and pull 50 pounds.
• Current CPR & OIS certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe environment for the people we support.
• Provide quality, compassionate care with activities of daily living.
• Be a positive, respectful, caring, therapeutic and engaging support person.
• Exhibit professionalism in interactions with family, medical staff and teammates.
• Collaborate with team members to support growth and success of the people we serve.
• Contribute to development and implementation of individual support plans (ISP) and ensure they are followed and documented.
• Work with BSP, NCP, ISPs, and Oregon Interventions Systems (OIS) as applicable.
• Ensure all required documentation is accurate and timely per state and aHope,INC. expectations.
• Complete trainings and maintain competencies.
• Experience with medication administration preferred but not required; may perform nurse delegated tasks with training.
• Obtain vital signs and recognize changes in condition.
