Job summary

New Hope Treatment Centers is seeking a Residential Counselor for the 7:00 PM–7:30 AM night shift. The role involves supervising and supporting youth with mental health needs in a therapeutic residential setting, ensuring safety and adherence to treatment plans.

You will participate in treatment teams, document daily progress, and assist with daily activities. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible new hires who join our October orientation class and complete 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass all required background checks.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage residents with mental health needs in a therapeutic milieu.
• Ensure resident safety and implement approved life safety policies.
• Provide therapeutic supervision during treatment activities.
• Document resident behavior and interventions daily in health records.
• Assist in orientation of new residents and support program rules.
• Coordinate therapeutic activities and oversee resident daily tasks.
• Participate as an active member of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Transport residents as needed and support de-escalation when required.
