Job summary

Intandem Solutions is seeking a Residential Supervisor - Nights to lead overnight Direct Support Professionals and manage daily residence operations for the MR/DD program. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating trainings, scheduling shifts, and evaluating performance to ensure high-quality care and safety.

The position requires a NYS driver license, willingness to travel between sites, and the ability to obtain medications administration and SCIP-R certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and three (3) years progressive experience in a group home setting serving the MR/DD population.
• Bachelor's Degree in an area of Human Services or related field from an accredited program
• One (1) year of experience in a Human Services capacity, preferably with the DD population
• Associates Degree in an area of Human Services or related field
• Two (2) years of experience in a Human Services capacity
• An equivalent combination of directly relevant education, training, and/or experience deemed adequate for the position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight Direct Support Professionals and daily residence operations on the overnight shift.
• Provide trainings, scheduling, and evaluating staff.
• Observe welfare of staff and the people we support; review work and documentation; provide instruction, coaching, counseling, and direct support.
• Maintain a healthy and safe residential environment.
• Monitor and assist with overnight fire drills; communicate concerns and recommendations to appropriate departments.
• Work with Site Supervisor to oversee maintenance of the residence.
