Job summary

Family Health West is seeking a Resident Care Specialist with QMAP certification for night shifts in Fruita, CO. The role supports residents with daily living activities, documentation, and safety in a caring, home-like setting.

You’ll work 11 pm–7 am, weekends required, and earn $20.00 per hour with night/weekend differentials. Benefits include EAP, 403(b), medical plans, vision, life and disability coverage, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be compassionate and caring to work with residents.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be willing to obtain and maintain QMAP certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily personal care tasks and ensure resident comfort.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment and follow house rules.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record per standards.
• Assist with transfers, mobility aids, and turning/repositioning to prevent bedsores.
• Observe resident well‑being and report changes to nurse or supervisor.
