The starting wage range for Care Specialist is $17.35 to $18.22 per hour, while QMAP Care Specialist ranges from $17.85 to $18.74 per hour. Eligible for part-time or full-time schedules with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Care Specialist requires High School Diploma or GED plus six months of related work experience; minimum 18 years of age.
• QMAP Care Specialist requires High School Diploma or GED plus six months of related work experience; minimum 18 years of age; valid QMAP certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior aligned with Hilltop values and resident care.
• Administer medications as outlined by physician orders and verify against MAR.
• Follow medication administration rights and document appropriately.
• Maintain positive resident relations and confidentiality; answer inquiries and access resources.
• Follow policy, procedures, and regulations for medication administration.
• Monitor narcotics and perform counts to ensure control.
• Complete documentation promptly and accurately.
• Clean and restock medication carts at shift end.
• Respond to radios, pagers, and resident requests.
• Assume Care Specialist duties as needed.
