Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking a Renewables/Ethanol Production Worker to support cook, distillation, energy center, and DCS operations. You will assist with corn grinding, fermentation, evaporation, and boiler processes while maintaining accurate production records and performing lab sampling.

Ideal candidates have basic computer skills, willingness to operate mobile equipment, and a safety-first mindset for a 12-hour shift in a 24x7 ethanol facility. Training and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-2 years’ relevant experience required.
• Basic computer operation and data entry skills.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment and/or a valid driver’s license preferred.
• Previous production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform processing functions in cook, distillation, energy center and/or DCS areas of ethanol production with assistance.
• Perform activities relating to processing functions such as corn grinding and cook operations, yeast and fermentation quality control, yeast, distillation, evaporation, dryer and boiler operations.
• Monitor production processes and adjust equipment settings or raw materials inputs as directed to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Perform general product sampling, lab testing, document results, and report findings to crew leadership and/or laboratory personnel.
• Maintain documentation and record key production data as directed.
• Operate various types of mobile equipment.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks.
