Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking a Renewables/Ethanol Production Worker to support cook, distillation, energy center, and DCS operations in a 24x7 ethanol facility. The role involves assisting with corn grinding, fermentation, evaporation, dryer, and boiler processes, plus sampling, lab testing, and documentation.

Teamwork and safety focus are essential. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 0–2 years of experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to operate mobile equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred with basic computer skills.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience required.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment; valid driver’s license preferred.
• Previous production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform processing functions in cook, distillation, energy center and/or DCS areas of ethanol production with assistance.
• Handle corn grinding, cook operations, yeast/fermentation quality control, distillation, evaporation, dryer and boiler operations.
• Monitor production processes and adjust equipment/settings to optimize efficiency.
• Collect product samples, conduct lab tests, document results, and report findings to crew leadership.
• Maintain production records and operate mobile equipment.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to support safe operations.
