Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. in Logansport, IN is seeking a Renewables/Ethanol Production Worker to support cook, distillation, energy center and DCS operations, while assisting with corn grinding, fermentation, distillation, evaporation, dryer, and boiler processes.

You will monitor production processes, adjust equipment or inputs as directed, and perform product sampling, lab testing, and documentation to support safe and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Has basic skills in an analytical or scientific method or operational process.
• Works within clearly defined standard operations procedures and or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
• Ability to work with close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform processing functions in cook, distillation, energy center and/or DCS areas of ethanol production with assistance.
• Process related to corn grinding and cook operations, quality control for yeast and fermentation, and boiler operations.
• Monitor production processes and adjust equipment settings or inputs as directed to ensure efficiency.
• Perform sampling, lab testing, document results, and report findings to crew leadership or lab personnel.
• Maintain documentation and record production data as directed.
• Operate various types of mobile equipment.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks.
