Job summary

Banner Health in Sun City, AZ is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the night shift team at Banner Boswell Medical Center. You will provide respiratory care, ventilator management, and diagnostic testing across care settings.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree in respiratory care.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential via NBRC.
• Current license to practice in the state.
• BLS certification required.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all basic modalities of respiratory care as prescribed.
• Operates and adjusts mechanical ventilators to optimize patient care.
• Assembles, disassembles, maintains and troubleshoots respiratory equipment.
• Performs pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing per policy.
• Conducts patient assessments and informs physicians on care plans.
• Documents therapy accurately and communicates with the care team.
• May supervise department staff.
• May be assigned to various areas throughout the system.
