Job summary

Dallas Center United Methodist is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide prescribed respiratory care and diagnostics for adults and neonates in a 12x3 night shift. You will perform ABG analyses, PFTs, and manage ventilator support under supervision of the medical director.

Required are an accredited respiratory care program, Texas licensure, NBRC registration, and BLS/ACLS with NRP within 12 months. New graduates welcome to apply and work within our multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NRP required within 1 year of hire.
• Texas license as Respiratory Care Practitioner and NBRC registration; 6 months experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapies including oxygen administration, aerosol therapy and ventilator support.
• Conduct ABG sampling and analysis, PFTs, and ECGs.
• Prepare treatment evaluations with bedside respiratory assessment.
• Interpret CXR, ABG, and PFT data.
• Operate and troubleshoot cardiopulmonary equipment.
• Maintain infection control, safety and quality assurance.
