Job summary

University Behavioral Health of Denton is a private freestanding psychiatric hospital providing mental health and chemical dependency care to the North Texas region. The RN will work a full-time 36-hour week on a night shift (7pm–7:30am) with rotating weekends and opportunities for overtime.

You will coordinate, prescribe, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the health care team. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, ongoing professional growth, and advancement opportunities

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Texas required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in psychiatric healthcare is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document patient information and nursing care.
• Ensure adherence to Standards of Care and Practice.
• Comply with Joint Commission, state and regulatory standards.
• Maintain infection control, safety and risk management procedures.
