Job summary

Universal Health Services, a private healthcare organization, is seeking a Mental Health Technician at University Behavioral Health of Denton. The role involves active patient care, supervision, and assisting the treatment team under RN direction.

The night shift runs 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with rotating weekends. Responsibilities include recording vitals, assessing patient status, and reporting changes to the Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

• CNA licensure required; CPR and De-escalation training within 30 days.
• High School Degree or equivalent preferred; related therapeutic field degree preferred.
• 1+ year experience in psychiatric patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs.
• Observe and document changes in patient condition.
• Communicate changes to the Charge Nurse.
