University Behavioral Health of Denton is a private freestanding psychiatric hospital serving North Texas since 2005. This LVN role is a Full Time night shift (7p-7:30a) with rotating weekends, under RN and CNO supervision, providing nursing care to patients with psychiatric and personality disorders.

Take vitals, administer medications, and support treatment plans within LVN scope. UBH Denton emphasizes patient-centered care and opportunities for career growth within UHS and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited professional vocational/practical nursing program.
• Experience: Minimum one year as a LVN in psychiatric nursing preferred.
• Licensure: Licensed to practice vocational/practical nursing from the State Board of Nursing.

Responsabilités

• Take and record vital signs properly.
• Observe and document changes in patients' appearance, behavior and ability to work toward treatment plan goals.
• Communicate changes in patient' condition to the provider and unit nurse.
• Report signs and symptoms of infection in patients to the Charge provider and unit nurse.
