Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a high-energy RN to join our 5TA Medical team. The unit focuses on medical/surgical care for adults and post-op colorectal care, with a 16-bed tele unit.

The RN will perform essential assessments, coordinate care, and participate in evidence-based nursing practices. The position requires an Oklahoma RN license and evidence-based practice, with a night shift (7p–7a) and regular full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ADN required; BSN/MSN preferred.
• Current Oklahoma RN license is required.
• BLS and ACLS training or retraining is required during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/reassessment of health care needs for appropriate age groups.
• Nursing diagnosis and outcomes planning.
• Implementation and coordination of care with professional judgment.
• Evaluation of patient outcomes using evidence-based knowledge.
• Evaluates discharge needs related to plan of care.
• Professional practice in daily duties.
