Job summary

Norman Regional is seeking a high-energy Registered Nurse to join our 7a-7p Medical team in Norman, OK. The unit provides medical/surgical and post‑op colorectal care with 16 beds, requiring excellent communication to support safe, patient-centered care.

Required: Oklahoma RN license and BLS; Diploma/ADN; 1 year RN experience preferred; BSN/MSN preferred. Benefits include extensive coverage and growth opportunities in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ADN required; BSN/MSN preferred.
• 1 year RN experience preferred.
• Oklahoma RN license required; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and reassess patients' care needs.
• Analyze nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes with patient/family involvement.
• Coordinate and provide care through interventions guided by evidence-based practice.
• Evaluate patient outcomes using critical thinking and evidence-based knowledge.
• Serve as department leader in absence of the Nurse Manager.
• Maintain ACLS.
• RN will oversee bedside handoff at shift changes.
