Job summary

Norman Regional is seeking a high-energy registered nurse for the 5TA Medical unit to provide adult medical/surgical care, including post-op colorectal care, on a night shift (7p-7a) as a PRN position. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, care planning, and evaluation using evidence-based practice, with a focus on safety and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ADN required; BSN or MSN preferred.
• Current Oklahoma RN license.
• BLS and ACLS training or retraining required during orientation prior to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/reassessment of health care needs for individuals across age groups.
• Nursing diagnosis and outcomes planning with involvement of patient/family and other providers.
• Implementation and coordination of care through evidence-based interventions.
• Evaluation of patient outcomes using critical thinking and evidence-based knowledge.
