Norman Regional Health System in Norman, OK seeks a Registered Nurse for its Med/Surg Observation Unit. This 24-bed telemetry/medical-surgical unit offers a 7p-7a night shift in a full-time role with orientation and preceptor support.

The RN will perform essential functions: assessment, nursing diagnoses, care coordination, and discharge planning, guided by evidence-based practice. Oklahoma RN licensure and current BLS are required; new grads follow a Nurse Residency Program.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current Oklahoma RN license.
• BLS training required and maintained during employment.
• New grads must complete Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program.
• Previous hospital experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and reassessment of patient health needs.
• Nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes planning.
• Coordinate and implement care using professional judgement.
