Job summary

Norman Regional in Oklahoma is seeking a high-energy registered nurse to join our 5TA Medical team for the 7a-7p Day shift. You will care for adult patients with diverse medical conditions, applying evidence-based practice to promote safety and recovery in a supportive environment.

Required licensure and education include Oklahoma RN license and Diploma/ADN (BSN preferred). New grads are welcomed into our Nurse Residency program.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ADN required; BSN or MSN preferred.
• Oklahoma RN license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS required during orientation.
• New grads must complete Nurse Residency Program.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess/reassess the health care needs of individuals and involve patient, family and other providers as appropriate.
• Nursing Diagnosis and Outcomes - Analyze assessment to determine nursing diagnosis and expected outcomes.
• Implementation and Coordination of Care - Provide nursing care through interventions to achieve goals and needs guided by evidence-based practice.
• Evaluation - Evaluate patient outcomes using critical thinking and evidence-based knowledge.
• Evaluates discharge needs related to plan of care utilizing resources as needed.
• Professional Practice.
