Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg 2E unit at Atrium Health Lincoln in Lincolnton, NC. The role supports patient care across a 36-hour weekly schedule with weekday nights (7p–7a) and some weekend requirements.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, collaborating with the care team, and maintaining safety and high-quality care through EHR documentation and evidence-based practices. BSN preferred; BLS required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in-state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care, engaging patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
• Communicates effectively, provides feedback, and delegates appropriately.
