Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a part-time registered nurse for Med Surg 2E at Atrium Health Lincoln. The role involves delivering nursing care, participating in quality initiatives, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services.
• BLS certification.
• Telehealth/virtual practice requires license or privilege in client location.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans; collaborates with the care team.
• Administers medications and therapies per clinical protocols when required.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation and ensures patient safety.
