Atrium Health Lincoln Med Surg Unit is seeking a registered nurse to join our 30-bed unit serving pediatric, palliative, hospice, infection disease, behavioral health, and orthopedic patients. You will work with our hospitalist team to manage care, perform IV insertions, wound care, and medication administration, while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience, an active RN license, and BLS; BSN preferred.

Formación

• Graduate of a nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) served.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required based on specialty.
• Experience: typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies according to protocols; demonstrates effective communication and teamwork.
