Job summary

Summerlin Hospital, a 496-bed facility with emergency services, maternity, a Children’s Medical Center with NICU/PICU, advanced cardiovascular and oncology care, is part of The Valley Health System. The RN will deliver safe, competent nursing care and lead the healthcare team in a patient-centered approach under the supervision of the Charge Nurse.

Required: Nevada RN license, BLS; ACLS (adult) and PALS/NRP for pediatric patients as applicable; BSN preferred; one year of acute care experience or

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/ or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
