Qualifications

• ACLS certification required after 90 days of employment.
• Preferred: Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
• Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients.
• Planning, coordinating, and providing patient care, including community resources.
• Performing additional duties as assigned, inclusive of Charge Nurse.
• Discharge planning and patient/family teaching.

Skills

RN License in the state of application

Current BLS certification

Comfort working with vents/trachs/PICC lines

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
