Job summary

Summerlin Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, seeks an experienced RN to provide safe, patient-centered care in a busy acute setting. The role includes nursing leadership, collaboration with the healthcare team, and adherence to Service Excellence standards.

Requirements include a Nevada RN license (BSN preferred), BLS, ACLS and pediatric/neonatal certifications (PALS or NRP). A pre-employment assessment is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with BSN preferred.
• One year of acute care experience or completion of a specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current NV RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS/NRP or equivalent certifications.
• Must pass pre-employment assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and standards.
• Offer professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Oversee and guide staff under supervision.
