Job summary

Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, part of the Valley Health System, is seeking an RN for acute care with a focus on high-quality patient care and team support. The role emphasizes leadership, policy adherence, and patient-centered care in a busy hospital setting.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, Nevada RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications as needed. BSN preferred, with 1 year acute care experience or completion of specialty training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• One-year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Nevada; current BLS; ACLS (adult) and/or PALS/NRP as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients according to facility policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversee and guide employees under supervision; practice teamwork and service excellence.
