Job summary

Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, a 496-bed facility with emergency services, maternity, NICU and pediatric care, seeks a dedicated CNA to support nursing units with clerical tasks and patient care under state guidelines.

The role is part of the Valley Health System within the UHS family, offering education, solid compensation, and strong team collaboration; candidates must have a Nevada CNA license and BLS, with High School or equivalent and eligibility for CNA certification.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA certification from the Nevada Board of Nursing.
• Current CNA license in the State of Nevada and current BLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating nursing unit activities.
• Perform clerical and receptionist duties and patient care/service activities as defined by state guidelines.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care suitable for the patient age group served.
