Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking an experienced RN for Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. You will provide safe nursing care, lead a healthcare team, and uphold patient-centered care within a high-volume obstetric and critical care environment.

Eligible applicants will hold an RN license in Nevada with BLS; ACLS, PALS or NRP may be required by department. BSN preferred and successful completion of specialty training within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/ or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.
• One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada; BLS, ACLS, PALS or NRP as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients according to facility policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision; demonstrates Service Excellence standards.
