Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Florida RN license (BSN preferred), completes orientation, demonstrates strong communication with patients and families, and maintains patient safety, documentation accuracy, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Completion of general and nursing orientation.
• Unit orientation and unit-specific competency checklist.
• Certifications as required by the unit/area.
• Annual competency-based learning modules (CBLs).
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient on admission and ongoing, plan care.
• Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Involve family/significant others in the plan of care.
• Initiate individualized teaching to ensure positive outcomes.
• Administer medications per established policies.
