Job summary

Novant Health's Emergency Department in Thomasville, NC, invites a Registered Nurse to lead a multidisciplinary team during 7pm–7am shifts. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, coordinating with physicians and staff to stabilize and treat emergencies and provide compassionate support at every step.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, active RN licensure, BLS, and at least one year of acute nursing experience; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• If RN license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more, a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating licensure.
• One year of acute nursing experience required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state required.
• BLS certification required by ARC or AHA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
• Provide compassionate care and support patients through their health journey in alignment with policies.
