Newport Healthcare in Connecticut is seeking an RN to provide on-site nursing and attendant care to residents, ensuring health and well-being in line with our mission.

You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, document in medical records, and collaborate with NPs and physicians to adjust treatment plans.

Applicants must hold an active RN license in Connecticut; residential nursing experience is a plus, and a night shift differential applies.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, unencumbered RN license in the state where you work.
• Experience in residential nursing is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications and monitor vital signs with accurate documentation.
• Evaluate medical complaints and communicate with NPs and Physicians.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and provide direct nursing care.
• Monitor chronic health conditions, respiratory issues, and seizures with timely interventions.
• Maintain medical records and comply with reporting and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with Care Coordinators on medication management and refills.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings to enhance patient care.
