Job summary

Silver Hill Hospital in Connecticut is seeking an RN Supervisor, Lead to oversee shift-based nursing care and ensure adherence to hospital and nursing department standards. You will direct delivery of care for a designated group of units, mentor staff, participate in committees, handle charge nurse duties as needed, and support patient safety and quality initiatives.

The role requires an RN license in CT, ADN or BSN, CPR/BLS, and the ability to work nights Monday to Friday 11:45pm–7:45am.

Qualifications

• RN license in Connecticut (CT) required; BSN preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required after hire.
• Ability to mentor and develop staff and orient new hires.

Responsibilities

• Oversees shift-related activities and directs delivery of nursing care for a designated group of units.
• Acts as Charge Nurse on the clinical unit when needed and ensures patient safety.
• Evaluates patient outcomes with staff and takes corrective action as required.
• Participates in committees, staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
