Job summary

South Haven Health & Rehabilitation in Hoover, AL is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing care overnight (11:00 PM–7:00 AM). You will lead clinical care, respond to changes in residents' conditions, administer medications, and supervise care staff to ensure safety and quality through the night.

This full-time night position offers a $32.65–$42.85/hour wage based on experience, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, shift differentials, and a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach.
• BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred).
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care during the overnight hours.
• Assess residents and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies and regulatory standards.
• Promote a calm, safe, and healing environment.
