Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Irving, TX is seeking a Referral Representative I to manage internal and external customer interactions related to Referral Testing and to serve as the liaison between clients and referral vendors. The role supports specimen processing, issue resolution, and timely communication of results.

Requirements include 1–2 years of clinical laboratory experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Customer service background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all internal and external customer contact regarding Referral Testing.
• Receive, resolve and follow up with complex customer issues.
• Act as a liaison between internal and external customers and Referral vendors.
• Retrieve, sort and process specimens for shipment to referral laboratories.
• Ensure sample quality and accuracy; identify problems with specimens.
