Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Referral Representative I in Pittsburgh, PA. The role handles internal and external customer contact regarding referral testing, resolving complex issues, and acting as a liaison between customers and referral vendors.

The position operates on a 9:00 PM–5:30 AM shift with weekend rotations, offering base pay and potential shift differentials. Experience in clinical laboratories and strong customer service skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one to two years clinical laboratory experience.
• Strong data entry and attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, sort and process specimens for shipment to referral laboratories.
• Ensure sample quality and accuracy; address issues with specimens.
• Prepare specimens and packaging for shipment per IATA regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding reporting of results and service issues.
• Investigate and resolve complex Referral Testing issues.
