Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) and cross-department collaboration.
• Proficient in basic math and Windows-based computer systems.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Oversee warehouse safety programs to maintain a safe, compliant workplace.
• Train associates and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.
• Prepare activity reports for management and resolve discrepancies in shipping records.
• Monitor and rotate inventory, staging, and storage to optimize space.
