Community Solutions Inc. is seeking a Full-time Residential Re-Entry Specialist at the Drapelick Center in Bloomfield, CT.

The role supports parolees and requires a shift from midnight to 8:00 AM, Tuesday through Saturday, with 15 minutes early reporting and a focus on safety and compliance. The position emphasizes trauma-informed care, strict security procedures, and collaboration with the Program Director and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 4 years’ experience in the social service or criminal justice field. Education may be substituted with relevant experience on a one year for one year basis.
• Pass a Federal Bureau of Prisons background check.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Report to work 15 minutes before their shift.
• Conduct Urinalysis.
• Provide updates on client issues and incidents.
• Verify all physical items passed between shifts.
• Ensure security of facility keys.
• Conduct employment, job search and home confinement spot checks.
• Conduct searches and document results.
• Confiscate contraband and complete incident report.
• Complete house counts during shift hours and documentation.
• Transport clients as needed in a company vehicle.
• Conduct monthly emergency drills.
• Supervise all client visitation and sign in/out visitors.
• Complete intake on new arrivals and facilitate orientation.
• Monitor self-administration of medication.
