Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator I for night shift in our North America quarry operations. This role involves transporting materials throughout the quarry, operating a range of heavy equipment, and maintaining safety and efficiency on site.

You will inspect equipment, log counts, and coordinate with quality personnel to adjust material blends. A high school diploma or GED and the ability to work in varying weather are required, with overtime and weekend work common.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience in varying weather elements; quarry experience preferred.
• Ability to operate multiple heavy equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks, water trucks, rock breakers, and fuel trucks.
• Operate front end loaders, dozers, backhoes, graders, excavators, skid steers as needed.
• Inspect equipment, report issues, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain accurate material counts and communicate with QA and quarry supervisor.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies; support team efficiency.
