Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Equipment Operator for the Night Shift to operate dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and other heavy equipment on paving and earthworking projects. The role includes daily inspections and maintaining equipment safety and readiness on site.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related experience, with strong reading, writing, and driving skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of related work experience or equivalent combination of eduaction and experience.
• Ability to read and write. Excellent driving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load trucks and feed bins with aggregate materials.
• Maintain equipment by keeping it clean and orderly.
• Perform daily inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and environmental requirements are followed.
• Load materials into bins, crushers, trucks or plant.
• Move earth or materials from one location to another.
• Perform visual inspections and minor repairs as needed.
• Complete necessary paperwork and assist with other duties.
• Commit to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments.
